Frequently Asked Questions FAQ

Estimates are free (limit 1 per project/service). The written quotes for Landscaping or Power Washing are valid for 30 days. Lawn Care quotes are valid for 3 days because the longer the client waits the taller the grass grows changing the rate. Check to see if your zip code is in our service area (certain zip codes closer to base qualify for 18% discount).

We use organic products that will not harm children or pets. It is our recommendation that you keep children/pets off the lawn until liquid applications have had time to dry, this can vary from 1 to 3 hours depending on humidity and so on. With granular applications you can re-enter the lawn immediately following treatment.

Standard gates are 36” wide, rest assured we employ equipment in multiple sizes for this reason.

Yes, we accept credit/debit cards (preferred). Did you know you can set up auto pay in the Client Portal?

We are expected to keep the grass mowed on schedule, so this requires us to make a good judgment call on when to delay a mow. During the “season” of active growth it is better for us to mow wet than to skip the lawn and run the risk of it going multiple weeks without a cut but a steady growth. Ruts can be created in these occasions, but they are temporary and will self-fix as the lawn dries back out. If you ever feel like it is too wet to be mowed as scheduled log into your account or contact us to skip your visit. We do our best to make the best decision for our clients but because of the subjectivity of this type of situation it can be hard to get it right every time for every clients preference.

In a very rare circumstance we should miss a scheduled cut (other than a rain delay) we will be out the following day. If you are looking at it and do not believe that someone has been out please call us within 48 hours of the completed service invoice and so that we may investigate the issue and get it resolved immediately.

The native grasses in our area typically do not need to be bagged during the spring, summer, and fall cuttings. We use mulching mowers that recycle the clippings back into the grass. We bag lawns from December to February to remove any thatch build up throughout the year. There is no additional cost if for bagging those clippings if they are being used as winter mulch in your flower beds. Haul off is an additional cost per bag. We do offer to bag any time of the year at an additional cost but we do not recommend it.

Call or text us right away. Any potential damage caused by our crew needs to be documented in 3 days or less and before you contact a vendor for repair. These types of situations must be photo documented right away for insurance companies.

Fence damage is very common. Most fences are not engineered with mowing and trimming in mind. If grass grows between or alongside it will create divots that get worse over time. Gates are more commonly the area damage. If you have questions, please contact our office right away and we will have someone out to assess the damage.

No one needs to be home; we need access to all agreed service areas on you property (a padlock key, combination or it be dummy locked) and your backyard pets put away because gates may be left open while we work
